THIS WEEK ON THE SHOW 12/23/11

Dec 23, 2011

This week on the show The Kidd calls in from his seemingly never ending lockdown in his basement. We discuss last week's Strikeforce event and highlight if Melendez is as good as people say and if Cris Cyborg should begin fighting men to get some real competition. Also a big congratulations to close friend of the show, Wilson Reis on his big victory in the WFE last week. It was his first fight in his home country of Brasil and on top of beating a solid opponent, he gained yet another belt to add to his already impressive collection! I talk about the winner of the Super Six Boxing Classic, Andre Ward and if he needs to ever fight Bute now that he is considered to be the best 168lb fighter on the planet. This weekend Jermain Taylor is fighting and I just hope he doesn't get knocked out and remains healthy.

Chrissy goes to Baltimore and interviews Lovey and we play two tracks of theirs. They are a great dynamic band that I urge everyone to check out. They have a show January 5th at The Troc in Philadelphia with a sick lineup of other great local bands. Tickets are only $8 at the door! Go out and support local music true believers! You can find more info about them at their Facebook and Reverb Nation pages:

Remember to please join our mailing list and stay in the know with all things of the show, when bands that appear here are playing and when big fights are coming up. Subscribe, give us a thumbs up, etc and tell you friends we are available on iTunesStitcherBlubrry, and Facebook. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you out there!
